Beauty of Darkness

“I like the darkness. There’s something to the feeling of not knowing your surroundings, not seeing the color of things as they appear, but as they truly are. There’s something about the unknown, the quiet, the cold. There’s something unspoken about the dark, something I can never quite put words to. Something terrifying yet beautiful.” ❀

    • Thank you!! It’s kind of embarrassing but I’m still afraid of the dark in some ways! Lol I work at a store which is just one room with a closet and bathroom and after I close at night if I forget something, I find it scary going back in in the dark even though I know there’s no one in there. Thank You for your comment! I appreciate it! πŸ˜€

    • That does sound scary! We don’t have that problem here because we don’t really have many wild animals around, especially bears!, (we do have some raccoons & possums), but also it’s never really completely dark at night with all the city lights, street lights, traffic lights…when the street lights blow out, which is rare I think, the street can be completely dark and it’s very strange looking. Thank you for sharing!! I appreciate your comment! πŸ˜€

    • Thank you very much for reading & for your comment! No I did not write it myself and I’m not sure who did. I wish I knew. I don’t remember where I found the quote either. Often; I’m not sure who really originally said/wrote the quotes I share so I don’t add the name because they are often inaccurate. Sometimes I forget and copy & paste the wrong name along with the quote. I always put quotes that are not mine in quotations. Thanks again! πŸ˜€ I wish I could have been of more help!
