Wishing Well <3

“It seems to me we can never give up longing and wishing while we are still alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good, and we must hunger for them.” ~
George Eliot

Yes, it’s so good to desire, wish for, and hunger for beautiful things! Sunsets and sunrises, beautiful weather, true friendship, a fantastic job, to see a great movie, a sweet adventure, to take pictures, to share with others, marriage, relationships, children, vacations…we can be thankful for all that we currently have, cherish it, love it, and still have a thirst for more. Being content and satisfied doesn’t mean we never want anything else. Part of living is desiring, hungering, pursuing…it doesn’t mean we’re ungrateful or not happy already. Different people and things can coax out different kinds of happiness and joy in us. ❀ ❀ ❀

“Kissing like a bandit stealing time underneath a sycamore tree.
Cupid by the hour sends Valentines to my sweet lover and me.
Slowly, but surely your appetite is more than I knew.
Sweetly, softly I’m falling in love with you.”

“Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of butterfly tears
Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of crocodile cheers”

I’m wishing you much love & light now & for always!Β

  1. Yes, I have always thought that desire for more is what keeps human kind evolving, it’s just that sometimes it gets misplaced and we get it wrong, but the basic purpose of desire is to develop so that we can reach our full potential, as individuals, and as human kind. 😊😊
